Major Garima Yadav has created history by becoming the first woman Indian Army officer to be appointed Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. She assumed the significant role on September 14, 2025, serving Governor Anandiben Patel. Yadav's journey includes winning a beauty pageant in 2017 but choosing a military career over an international opportunity. She secured an All India Rank 2 in the CDS 2017 exam and was commissioned into the Army Service Corps in March 2019.

मेजर गरिमा यादव ने उत्तर प्रदेश की राज्यपाल की सहायक-डी-कैंप (ADC) नियुक्त होने वाली पहली महिला भारतीय सेना अधिकारी बनकर इतिहास रच दिया है। उन्होंने 14 सितंबर 2025 को राज्यपाल आनंदीबेन पटेल की सेवा में यह महत्वपूर्ण पद संभाला। यादव की यात्रा में 2017 में एक ब्यूटी पेजेंट जीतना शामिल है, लेकिन उन्होंने एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय अवसर के बजाय सैन्य करियर को चुना। उन्होंने सीडीएस 2017 परीक्षा में ऑल इंडिया रैंक 2 हासिल की और मार्च 2019 में आर्मी सर्विस कोर में कमीशन प्राप्त किया।
