Rydox Operator Pleads Guilty to Selling Stolen Data

The 28-year-old operator of Rydox, an online marketplace for stolen personal information and cybercrime tools, has pleaded guilty in the United States. Ardit Kutleshi admitted to charges related to creating and running the illicit platform, which facilitated over 7,600 transactions since 2016. The marketplace generated at least $232,000 by selling stolen data, including identities and logins from US victims. The FBI seized the Rydox domain and extradited Kutleshi to face charges of aggravated identity theft and money laundering conspiracy.
