Former Telangana minister T Harish Rao has accused the current Congress government of creating an artificial drought situation in the state. He stated that farmers are facing power cuts, irrigation shortages, and crop losses due to the government's alleged mismanagement of water and power resources. Harish Rao claimed that rivers have water, but pumps are not being operated properly, and power generation is insufficient for agricultural needs. He also alleged that the government is cancelling development projects instead of completing them.

तेलंगाना के पूर्व मंत्री टी हरीश राव ने मौजूदा कांग्रेस सरकार पर राज्य में कृत्रिम सूखा जैसी स्थिति पैदा करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार द्वारा कथित तौर पर पानी और बिजली संसाधनों के कुप्रबंधन के कारण किसान बिजली कटौती, सिंचाई की कमी और फसल के नुकसान का सामना कर रहे हैं। हरीश राव ने दावा किया कि नदियों में पानी है, लेकिन पंप ठीक से नहीं चलाए जा रहे हैं, और कृषि जरूरतों के लिए बिजली उत्पादन अपर्याप्त है। उन्होंने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि सरकार विकास परियोजनाओं को पूरा करने के बजाय उन्हें रद्द कर रही है।
