Kannada actress Chaitra Rao, known for her role in Ginirama, has revealed she is battling cancer. She underwent intestinal surgery in January, during which a tumor was discovered and later diagnosed as cancerous. Following treatment for colon cancer, it spread to her ovaries, necessitating another major surgery where her uterus and ovaries were removed. Chaitra decided to shave her head due to severe hair loss during her second round of treatment. She remains hopeful for recovery and has requested prayers from her fans.
