Hyderabad experienced severe traffic congestion in Panjagutta on November 6, 2026, as shoppers flocked to jewellery stores for Dhanteras. The normally free-flowing traffic turned chaotic due to increased vehicles and people slowing down or parking. Traffic police managed the area from 11 a.m. onwards, with backups extending to Srinagar Colony. Ongoing flyover construction near KBR Park further exacerbated the gridlock, causing slow movement from SNT Junction towards Sagar Society. Despite the rush, some jewellers reported sales were only just about okay, not matching previous years.

6 नवंबर 2026 को धनतेरस के मौके पर हैदराबाद के पंजागुट्टा में भारी ट्रैफिक जाम देखा गया। लोग सोने के गहने खरीदने के लिए ज्वेलरी स्टोर पर उमड़ पड़े थे। सामान्य रूप से सुचारू रूप से चलने वाला यातायात वाहनों और लोगों की भीड़ के कारण अराजक हो गया था, जो धीमे चल रहे थे या पार्किंग कर रहे थे। ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने सुबह 11 बजे से इलाके को संभाला, और श्रीनगर कॉलोनी तक जाम फैल गया। केबीआर पार्क के पास चल रहे फ्लाईओवर निर्माण ने भी जाम को और बढ़ा दिया, जिससे एसएनटी जंक्शन से सागर सोसाइटी की ओर धीमी गति से यातायात चला।
