Times of India · entertainment

Bigg Boss Kannada 13 contestant Likhith has sparked controversy for calling fellow contestant Prashanth 'Idli Masi', which Prashanth perceived as a racist comment targeting his skin colour. Host Kichcha Sudeep questioned Likhith about the remark during the weekend episode, criticising his delayed explanation and attitude. Likhith claimed the phrase was regional slang from North Karnataka, not an insult about complexion, but admitted he made a mistake after Sudeep stressed the importance of responsible communication on the show.
