TRS Gives Singareni Collieries 60 Days to Resolve 11 Worker Demands

The Telangana Rakshana Samithi (TRS) has issued a 60-day ultimatum to Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) management to address 11 core worker demands. These include a 35% profit share, timely medical board declarations, consistent medical sessions, dependent jobs, land under the own-house scheme, and resolution of alias name service issues. TRS chief Kavitha led a protest at Singareni Bhavan, warning of an indefinite hunger strike if demands are not met. The protest, in conjunction with HMS, represents the concerns of approximately 40,000 Singareni workers.
