Kerala CM to Inaugurate 800m Makkekadavu-Nerekadavu Bridge on Oct 18

Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan will inaugurate the Makkekadavu-Nerekadavu bridge on Sunday, October 18. The 800-meter-long bridge, constructed at a cost of ₹98.09 crore, connects the Alappuzha and Kottayam districts. Public Works Minister P.K Basheer will preside over the function, which begins at 9 am in Makkekadavu. This new infrastructure is expected to provide commuters from Alappuzha with easier access to Vaikom, Kottayam, and Thrippunithura. Additionally, the bridge is anticipated to significantly benefit Sabarimala pilgrims during their journeys.

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री वी.डी. सतीसन रविवार, 18 अक्टूबर को मक्केकडावु-नेरेकडावु पुल का उद्घाटन करेंगे। ₹98.09 करोड़ की लागत से बना 800 मीटर लंबा यह पुल अलप्पुझा और कोट्टायम जिलों को जोड़ता है। लोक निर्माण मंत्री पी.के. बशीर मक्केकडावु में सुबह 9 बजे शुरू होने वाले समारोह की अध्यक्षता करेंगे। इस नई बुनियादी ढांचे से अलप्पुझा के यात्रियों को वाइकोम, कोट्टायम और थ्रिपुनिथुरा तक आसान पहुँच मिलने की उम्मीद है। इसके अतिरिक्त, पुल से सबरीमाला तीर्थयात्रियों को उनकी यात्राओं के दौरान काफी लाभ होने की उम्मीद है।
