The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has strongly condemned the disrespect shown to National Award-winning singer Shilpa Rao at Mumbai's Bollywood Music Project. Rao's performance was cut short mid-set on Saturday, with her microphone turned off and the stage handed to another act before she could finish or thank the audience. AICWA stated that such humiliation of an artist is unacceptable and vowed to support Rao through legal avenues if she chooses to take action against the organizers.
