भागलपुर की जिला मजिस्ट्रेट अलंकृति पांडेय और वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारियों ने विक्रमशिला सेतु के बंद होने के बाद गंगा के प्रमुख घाटों का निरीक्षण किया और फेरी व माल ढुलाई सेवाओं की समीक्षा की। पुल की मरम्मत के काम के लिए बंद रहेगा, जिससे भागलपुर और नौगछिया के बीच संपर्क प्रभावित होगा। अधिकारियों ने यात्री सुविधाओं, सुरक्षा और आपदा तैयारियों की समीक्षा की, जिसमें चिकित्सा शिविर, नियंत्रण कक्ष और पुलिस चौकियां तैनात की गईं। यात्रियों की सहायता और कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए अस्थायी पुलिस चौकियां स्थापित की गई हैं। इस दौरान भीड़ प्रबंधन और यात्री सुरक्षा प्रमुख प्राथमिकताएं हैं।
