Bayern Munich conceded the fastest goal in Bundesliga history after just eight seconds against Augsburg on Saturday, October 10. Robin Fellhauer scored for Augsburg following a significant error from veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who attempted to chip the ball over the opponent after kick-off but played it directly into his path. Fellhauer then easily slotted the ball into the empty net, setting a new record previously held by Kevin Volland and Karim Bellarabi. Bayern Munich is currently second in the Bundesliga standings.
