Odisha Govt Reshuffles IPS Officers, Appoints New SPs and ADG

The Odisha government has undertaken a significant reshuffle of IPS officers, appointing new Superintendents of Police (SPs) in two districts and a new head for the prisons directorate. Santosh Bala has been given additional charge as ADG of the prisons directorate, replacing Susanta Nath. Sarah Sharma returns from central deputation to be appointed DIG of Odisha vigilance. The reshuffle also includes transfers of SPs in Jharsuguda and Nuapada districts, with new officers taking charge to ensure administrative continuity and efficiency.

ओडिशा सरकार ने IPS अधिकारियों का बड़ा फेरबदल किया है। दो जिलों में नए पुलिस अधीक्षक (SP) नियुक्त किए गए हैं और जेल निदेशालय के नए प्रमुख भी बने हैं। संतोष बाला को जेल निदेशालय के ADG का अतिरिक्त प्रभार मिला है, उन्होंने सुशांता नाथ की जगह ली है। सारा शर्मा केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति से लौटकर ओडिशा विजिलेंस की DIG बनी हैं। इस फेरबदल में झारसुगुड़ा और नुआपाड़ा जिलों के SPs का भी तबादला हुआ है, ताकि प्रशासनिक निरंतरता और दक्षता सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
