HSVP Orders Probe Into Cheaper Plot Sales

HSVP has initiated an inquiry into the auction of two residential corner plots that sold for significantly less than comparable general-category plots. The two 286-sq-metre corner plots fetched Rs 5.5 crore and Rs 5.3 crore, while three similar general plots sold for Rs 7 crore, Rs 6.6 crore, and Rs 6.6 crore. An HSVP official noted that corner plots typically command a premium. The probe will also examine delays in issuing letters of intent and potential financial losses for HSVP due to lost interest income.
