Broken Ganpati Idols Transformed Into Study Tables

Two men in Mumbai have ingeniously repurposed broken Ganpati idols into 760 study tables for children. Malhar Kaalambe and Dr. Binish Desai utilized proprietary 'Murticycle' technology to process over 3,200 kg of plaster of Paris from discarded idols. This initiative not only gives festival waste a new purpose but also provides children with dedicated spaces for learning. Each table created also contributes to environmental conservation by saving approximately 5,457 grams of CO2. The project transforms end-of-festival remnants into valuable resources for education and sustainability.

मुंबई में दो लोगों ने टूटी हुई गणपति मूर्तियों को कमाल का नया रूप दिया है। उन्होंने 760 बच्चों के लिए स्टडी टेबल बनाए हैं। मालहार कालम्बे और डॉ. बिनीश देसाई ने 'मर्टिसाइकिल' तकनीक का इस्तेमाल करके 3,200 किलो से ज़्यादा प्लास्टर ऑफ पेरिस को प्रोसेस किया। इससे न सिर्फ त्योहार के कचरे को नया जीवन मिला, बल्कि बच्चों को पढ़ने के लिए जगह भी मिली। यह प्रोजेक्ट पर्यावरण के लिए भी बहुत अच्छा है।
