Indian Scientist Develops Organic Produce Wash

Pune scientist Dr. Asmita Prabhune has developed Sophab, an organic produce wash designed to remove up to 99% of pesticides and residues from fruits and vegetables. This innovation comes after an FSSAI survey revealed pesticide residues in nearly one in five produce samples tested across India. The wash requires a simple 2-3 minute soak and rinse process.
