India PE-VC Investments Poised to Exceed $39 Billion This Year

Times of India · business

India's private equity and venture capital investments are projected to surpass last year's $39 billion, marking a consecutive year-on-year revival. International investors are increasingly focusing on hard-asset businesses like infrastructure and domestic manufacturing. Despite geopolitical disruptions, investments reached $32.7 billion by September, driven by a record $6 billion in September alone. This growth is attributed to the Indian economy's resilience and a strong IPO market, with significant capital flowing into infrastructure sectors like renewable energy and data centers.
