A seal band, also known as an RCC strip, is a horizontal concrete layer placed above the brickwork, typically at the bottom of windows. This concrete band is crucial for reinforcing walls, especially those with openings like windows or doors. It prevents cracks from forming over time and distributes the weight of the upper wall and window frame evenly onto the lower bricks. The seal band enhances structural integrity, providing safety against minor earthquake tremors by binding the masonry together and preventing walls from separating.

सील बैंड, जिसे आरसीसी स्ट्रिप भी कहते हैं, ईंटों के ऊपर डाली जाने वाली कंक्रीट की एक क्षैतिज परत होती है, जो आमतौर पर खिड़कियों के नीचे लगाई जाती है। यह कंक्रीट बैंड दीवारों को मज़बूत करने के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है, खासकर उन दीवारों में जहाँ खिड़की या दरवाज़े जैसी खुली जगह हो। यह समय के साथ दरारें पड़ने से रोकता है और ऊपरी दीवार व खिड़की के फ्रेम के वज़न को नीचे की ईंटों पर बराबर बाँट देता है। सील बैंड ढाँचे की मज़बूती को बढ़ाता है, ईंटों को एक साथ बाँधकर और दीवारों को अलग होने से रोककर छोटे भूकंप के झटकों से सुरक्षा प्रदान करता है।
