8 Lakh Women Added to West Bengal's Annapurna Yojana on Panchami

Approximately eight lakh women in West Bengal have been added to the Annapurna Yojana beneficiary list, receiving Rs 3,000 each via direct benefit transfer on Panchami. This expansion brings the total number of beneficiaries in the state to around 1.6 crore. The scheme, which began its online application process in June, aims to provide financial assistance to eligible women. Many recipients expressed gratitude, noting the timely financial support during the festive season. A few thousand applications are still being processed.

पश्चिम बंगाल की अन्नपूर्णा योजना में पंचमी पर 8 लाख महिलाओं को जोड़ा गया

पश्चिम बंगाल में लगभग आठ लाख महिलाओं को अन्नपूर्णा योजना के लाभार्थी सूची में शामिल किया गया है, जिन्हें पंचमी पर डायरेक्ट बेनिफिट ट्रांसफर के माध्यम से ₹3,000 मिले हैं। इस विस्तार से राज्य में लाभार्थियों की कुल संख्या लगभग 1.6 करोड़ हो गई है। यह योजना, जिसका ऑनलाइन आवेदन जून में शुरू हुआ था, पात्र महिलाओं को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने का लक्ष्य रखती है। कई लाभार्थियों ने उत्सव के मौसम के दौरान समय पर वित्तीय सहायता मिलने पर आभार व्यक्त किया। कुछ हजार आवेदन अभी भी प्रोसेस किए जा रहे हैं।
