Bank of Baroda shares fell over 3% after reports surfaced that NMC Healthcare founder BR Shetty filed a $15 billion lawsuit against the lender. Shetty accuses the bank of colluding with former executives to siphon funds, leaving him with unknown liabilities. The lawsuit, filed at the Bombay High Court, seeks $5 billion in damages for alleged fraud and negligence, plus $5 billion for consequential damages and $5 billion for reputational harm.

बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा के शेयर 3% से ज़्यादा गिर गए, जब यह खबर आई कि एनएमसी हेल्थकेयर के संस्थापक बीआर शेट्टी ने बैंक के खिलाफ 15 अरब डॉलर का मुकदमा दायर किया है। शेट्टी का आरोप है कि बैंक ने पूर्व अधिकारियों के साथ मिलकर फंड की हेराफेरी की, जिससे उन पर अज्ञात देनदारियां आ गईं। बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में दायर इस मुकदमे में कथित धोखाधड़ी और लापरवाही के लिए 5 अरब डॉलर हर्जाने की मांग की गई है, साथ ही 5 अरब डॉलर परिणामी नुकसान के लिए और 5 अरब डॉलर प्रतिष्ठा को हुए नुकसान के लिए मांगे गए हैं।
