Seventeen-year-old Kumkum Mohod has become the first Indian woman to win an individual recurve gold medal at the Asian Games. She also secured a gold in the women's team event and a mixed team silver, marking a historic debut. Mohod achieved the individual gold by defeating South Korea's Oh Yejin in a shoot-off. She previously won gold medals in the women's and mixed team events at the World Cup this year. Mohod idolizes Kang Chaeyoung and Dhiraj Bommadevara and dreams of an Olympic medal in 2028.
