INDIA Bloc Protest: Security Heightened in Delhi for Third Day

Security has been significantly increased in central Delhi for the INDIA bloc's protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Approximately 5,000 police personnel and additional central paramilitary forces have been deployed, with roads barricaded. Protesters gathered at Le Meridien roundabout, and police are reviewing body camera footage. Opposition lawmakers have been protesting since Tuesday, demanding Kumar's resignation. On Wednesday, lawmakers attempted to march to Jantar Mantar but were stopped, leading to detentions and alleged manhandling by both sides.
