Pune Municipal Corporation Gets Defence Land For Koregaon Park Road Widening Project

Pune Municipal Corporation has received working permission to use 8,883.24 sqm of defence land in Ghorpadi for widening the North Main Road. This crucial infrastructure project aims to significantly ease traffic congestion in the Koregaon Park-Mundhwa corridor. The road, a vital link for commuters, will be widened from 18 metres to 30 metres. The Ministry of Defence granted permission on an equal value infrastructure basis, with PMC bearing the project costs. This development clears a major hurdle for a project that has been in the pipeline for several years.

पुणे म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन (PMC) को घोरपड़ी में 8,883.24 वर्ग मीटर रक्षा भूमि का उपयोग करने की वर्किंग परमिशन मिल गई है। यह नॉर्थ मेन रोड को चौड़ा करने के लिए है। यह महत्वपूर्ण इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट कोरेगाव पार्क-मुंधवा कॉरिडोर में ट्रैफिक जाम को काफी हद तक कम करेगा। यह रोड, जो यात्रियों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी है, 18 मीटर से बढ़ाकर 30 मीटर की जाएगी। रक्षा मंत्रालय ने समान मूल्य के इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के आधार पर अनुमति दी है, जिसमें PMC प्रोजेक्ट का खर्च वहन करेगी। इस डेवलपमेंट से कई सालों से अटके प्रोजेक्ट की एक बड़ी बाधा दूर हो गई है।
