Times of India · world

A report alleges Elon Musk's SpaceX intentionally slowed Ukraine's Starlink satellite internet network, impacting military operations and causing alarm in Kyiv. President Zelenskyy reportedly raised concerns over the disruptions. However, US officials, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have denied that Washington ordered any reduction in services. Rubio clarified that Starlink is a commercial service, distinct from the US government-controlled Starshield military system, and stated that no White House official ordered the internet slowdown.
