RBI Reports $136 Billion Forex Inflows Via Swap

The Reserve Bank of India has reported substantial foreign exchange inflows amounting to $136.38 billion as of August 31. These inflows are attributed to a special swap facility introduced by the central bank in June. This facility was designed to manage and encourage inflows through FCNR(B) deposits, External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs), and Overseas Currency Denominated Bonds (OFCBs).

भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने बताया है कि 31 अगस्त तक विदेशी मुद्रा का बड़ा प्रवाह हुआ है, जो $136.38 बिलियन है। यह जून में शुरू की गई एक खास स्वैप सुविधा के कारण हुआ है। इस सुविधा का मकसद FCNR(B) जमा, External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs) और Overseas Currency Denominated Bonds (OFCBs) के ज़रिए आने वाले पैसे को संभालना और बढ़ाना था।
