The Delhi High Court has ordered the Delhi Police to provide round-the-clock security to the mother of an accused in the murder of 26-year-old Tarun Butolia. Justice Girish Kathpalia deemed the situation serious, stating the woman should not be left vulnerable to violence. The Uttam Nagar police station is tasked with ensuring continuous personnel deployment in her lane until normalcy returns. The court issued this directive after the woman petitioned for protection, alleging attacks on her home by local residents, including the deceased's family.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने दिल्ली पुलिस को 26 वर्षीय तरुण बुटोलिया की हत्या के आरोपी की माँ को चौबीसों घंटे सुरक्षा देने का आदेश दिया है। जस्टिस गिरीश कथपालिया ने स्थिति को गंभीर मानते हुए कहा कि महिला को हिंसा के प्रति असुरक्षित नहीं छोड़ा जाना चाहिए। उत्तम नगर पुलिस स्टेशन को सामान्य स्थिति बहाल होने तक उसके लेन में लगातार कर्मियों की तैनाती सुनिश्चित करने का काम सौंपा गया है। अदालत ने यह निर्देश महिला द्वारा सुरक्षा की याचिका दायर करने के बाद जारी किया, जिसमें उसने कथित तौर पर मृतक के परिवार सहित स्थानीय निवासियों द्वारा उसके घर पर हमले की शिकायत की थी।
