Lai ADC Accuses Mizoram Govt Of Undermining Autonomy

ADC has accused the Zoram People’s Movement government in Mizoram of undermining the autonomy of the state’s three ADCs. Deputy chief executive member Sanghuliana Mualchin stated that the government withheld revised estimates for annual budgets for three years and imposed unacceptable conditions on allocations. He criticized the government's demand for 60% of budgets to go to salaries, noting the state government itself allocates over 82%. Mualchin further alleged attempts to downsize executive committees and terminate employees, violating the Sixth Schedule and the Mizo Peace Accord.

एडीसी ने मिजोरम में जोरम पीपल्स मूवमेंट सरकार पर राज्य की तीन एडीसी की स्वायत्तता को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया है। डिप्टी चीफ एग्जीक्यूटिव मेंबर संगहुलियाना मुआलचिन ने कहा कि सरकार ने तीन साल के लिए वार्षिक बजट के संशोधित अनुमानों को रोक दिया और आवंटन पर अस्वीकार्य शर्तें लगाईं। उन्होंने वेतन के लिए बजट का 60% हिस्सा जाने की सरकार की मांग की आलोचना की, यह देखते हुए कि राज्य सरकार खुद 82% से अधिक आवंटित करती है। मुआलचिन ने आगे कार्यकारी समितियों को छोटा करने और कर्मचारियों को निकालने के प्रयासों का आरोप लगाया, जो छठी अनुसूची और मिजो शांति समझौते का उल्लंघन है।
