Belagavi-based Aequs Limited has approved a preferential issue of warrants convertible into equity shares, potentially raising approximately ₹650 crore. This investment, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, will be made by Mellwood Trustee Services Private Limited. The funds are crucial for Aequs' growth, enabling capacity expansion in its aerospace and consumer businesses, including the development of its Hosur facility. The investment will also support subsidiaries and joint ventures, and general corporate purposes, bolstering the company's expansion plans.
