The TVK government has intensified its legal actions against DMK leaders with the arrest of former school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. He is the fourth DMK leader to be arrested since the TVK government took office five months ago. Poyyamozhi stated he would cooperate with the investigation and prove the charges wrong in court. The DMK alleges these arrests are a diversionary tactic by the TVK government to mask its inefficiency and distract from rising crime rates.

टीवीके सरकार ने पूर्व स्कूल शिक्षा मंत्री अनबिल महेश पोय्यमोझी की गिरफ्तारी के साथ डीएमके नेताओं के खिलाफ अपनी कानूनी कार्रवाई तेज कर दी है। वह पांच महीने पहले टीवीके सरकार के सत्ता में आने के बाद गिरफ्तार होने वाले चौथे डीएमके नेता हैं। पोय्यमोझी ने कहा कि वह जांच में सहयोग करेंगे और अदालत में आरोपों को गलत साबित करेंगे। डीएमके का आरोप है कि ये गिरफ्तारियां टीवीके सरकार की अक्षमता को छिपाने और बढ़ते अपराधों से ध्यान भटकाने की एक चाल है।
