Tech hiring demand in India's Global Capability Centres (GCCs) saw a 3.5% sequential decrease in the July-September quarter of FY27, as reported by Quess Corp. Major sectors like manufacturing, BFSI, and software experienced significant drops in hiring demand. However, demand for AI, data analytics, and cybersecurity professionals continued to surge, growing 14% and 12% respectively. The report also highlighted a 13% hiring growth in Tier-2 cities, indicating a shift in recruitment patterns.
