A special investigation team (SIT) probing the 2012 Dharmasthala rape and murder case visited the spot where the 17-year-old student's body was discovered. The visit aimed to examine the circumstances of her death and verify previous investigation details. The team, including forensic officers and doctors, documented the process at the Mannasanka area. The state government recently replaced the head of the SIT. The victim's body was found partially disrobed in a bush on October 10, 2012.
