Indian spirits maker Radico Khaitan has established a subsidiary in Scotland, Radico Khaitan Scotland Ltd., to explore opportunities in whisky distillation, maturation, and trading. The move aims to strengthen the company's malt whisky supply chain and support its growing need for mature malt spirit. While evaluating opportunities, the company is not currently pursuing specific distillery acquisitions. This initiative is also part of Radico Khaitan's strategy to diversify export markets and mitigate risks associated with market concentration.
