Punjab Revamps 147 Aam Aadmi Clinics in Ludhiana; 27 More Underway

The Punjab government has successfully revamped 147 existing Aam Aadmi Clinics in Ludhiana, enhancing their infrastructure and facilities at an approximate cost of ₹27 lakh per clinic. All upgraded facilities are now operational, aiming to improve primary healthcare access. Additionally, work is in progress to establish 27 new clinics across the district. Six of these are conversions of existing non-functional sites, while 21 are new constructions.

पंजाब सरकार ने लुधियाना में 147 मौजूदा आम आदमी क्लीनिकों का कायाकल्प किया है, जिसमें प्रति क्लिनिक लगभग ₹27 लाख की लागत से उनके बुनियादी ढांचे और सुविधाओं को बेहतर बनाया गया है। सभी उन्नत सुविधाएं अब चालू हो गई हैं, जिनका लक्ष्य प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सेवा तक पहुंच में सुधार करना है। इसके अतिरिक्त, जिले भर में 27 नए क्लीनिक स्थापित करने का काम चल रहा है। इनमें से छह मौजूदा गैर-कार्यात्मक स्थलों का रूपांतरण हैं, जबकि 21 नई इमारतें हैं।
