Former No. 1 Badminton Player Kuhu Garg Wins IPS Sword of Honour

Kuhu Garg, a 2024-batch IPS officer and former world No. 1 international badminton player, has received the 'Sword of Honour' for Best Outdoor Probationer at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad. Garg, who also secured the 'Best Drill' award, previously represented India from 2013 to 2020, winning numerous national and international medals. She cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2023 on her first attempt, securing an All India Rank of 178, after recovering from a severe knee injury.

2024 बैच की IPS अधिकारी और पूर्व विश्व नंबर 1 अंतरराष्ट्रीय बैडमिंटन खिलाड़ी कुहू गर्ग को हैदराबाद के सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल नेशनल पुलिस अकादमी में बेस्ट आउटडोर प्रोबेशनर के लिए 'स्वॉर्ड ऑफ ऑनर' मिला है। गर्ग, जिन्होंने 'बेस्ट ड्रिल' का पुरस्कार भी जीता, ने 2013 से 2020 तक भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व किया और कई राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय पदक जीते। उन्होंने गंभीर घुटने की चोट से उबरने के बाद 2023 में अपनी पहली कोशिश में UPSC सिविल सेवा परीक्षा पास की, जिसमें उन्हें ऑल इंडिया रैंक 178 हासिल हुई।
