IndusInd Bank CEO Name Unmapped From Voter Roll

IndusInd Bank MD & CEO Rajiv Anand revealed his name was unmapped from the electoral roll, despite holding multiple identity documents. He expressed frustration at being asked to appear for a hearing to prevent deletion from the voter list. The Election Commission has extended deadlines for claims and objections in Delhi and Maharashtra. The EC also stated that BLOs will collect documents from homes for unmapped voters, avoiding the need for hearings except in exceptional circumstances.

इंडसइंड बैंक के एमडी और सीईओ राजीव आनंद ने बताया कि कई पहचान पत्र होने के बावजूद उनका नाम वोटर लिस्ट से हटा दिया गया था। उन्होंने कहा कि वोटर लिस्ट से नाम हटाने से रोकने के लिए सुनवाई के लिए बुलाए जाने पर उन्होंने निराशा जताई। चुनाव आयोग ने दिल्ली और महाराष्ट्र में दावा और आपत्ति के लिए समय सीमा बढ़ा दी है। आयोग ने यह भी कहा कि जिन वोटरों के नाम लिस्ट से हटा दिए गए हैं, उनके लिए बीएलओ घर-घर जाकर दस्तावेज इकट्ठा करेंगे, जिससे असाधारण परिस्थितियों को छोड़कर सुनवाई की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी।
