CJP Activists Arrested for Trespassing at Jantar Mantar, Lawyers Denied Access

Delhi Police have arrested Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) activists Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, and Ajinkya Shinde for allegedly trespassing at Jantar Mantar. Authorities stated the arrests were preventive, occurring after the activists attempted to enter the site, which was recently de-notified as a protest location. CJP's legal head reported that the activists were denied access to their lawyers for nearly 24 hours and were concerned about potential judicial custody. The activists were reportedly attempting to hoist the national flag at the time of their detention.
