A faulty effluent treatment plant (ETP) is preventing the full-scale operation of the modern slaughterhouse in Kunnukuzhy, Thiruvananthapuram. The city corporation has scheduled a crucial meeting for Thursday with contractors MR Farms and KEL to resolve the issue. Inspections revealed defects in the ETP, raising concerns about the project's completion. MR Farms is willing to undertake repairs if an agreement is reached with KEL. The corporation aims to complete the work and make the facility operational by next month.

कुन्नुक्कुझी, तिरुवनंतपुरम में आधुनिक कसाईखाने का पूरा संचालन एक खराब एफ्लुएंट ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट (ETP) की वजह से रुका हुआ है। शहर निगम ने ठेकेदारों MR Farms और KEL के साथ इस मुद्दे को सुलझाने के लिए गुरुवार को एक अहम बैठक बुलाई है। निरीक्षण में ETP में खामियां पाई गई हैं, जिससे प्रोजेक्ट के पूरा होने पर चिंताएं बढ़ गई हैं। अगर KEL के साथ समझौता हो जाता है तो MR Farms मरम्मत का काम करने को तैयार है। निगम का लक्ष्य अगले महीने तक काम पूरा करके सुविधा को चालू करना है।
