Ex-CEA Defends GDP Revision, Calls Method "Cutting Edge"

Former Chief Economic Advisor Krishnamurthy Subramanian has defended the government's revision of last year's GDP figures. He dismissed Opposition claims that the downward revision was a deliberate attempt to inflate this year's growth rate. Subramanian stated that the new methodology used for calculating GDP is "cutting edge.
