The Vemireddy family has broken their silence to counter allegations made by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy defended her husband, MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, stating he had secured contracts worth ₹50,000 crore and had no need for unlawful activities. She dismissed accusations regarding quartz mining as baseless, explaining her husband explored it for local employment but dropped the project.

वेमिरेड्डी परिवार ने वाईएसआर कांग्रेस पार्टी (YSRCP) के आरोपों का जवाब देने के लिए चुप्पी तोड़ी है। कोवुर् विधायक वेमिरेड्डी प्रशांत रेड्डी ने अपने पति, सांसद वेमिरेड्डी प्रभाकर रेड्डी का बचाव करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने ₹50,000 करोड़ के ठेके हासिल किए थे और उन्हें किसी भी अवैध काम की ज़रूरत नहीं थी। उन्होंने क्वार्ट्ज खनन के आरोपों को बेबुनियाद बताया और कहा कि उनके पति ने स्थानीय रोज़गार के लिए इसकी खोज की थी, लेकिन परियोजना छोड़ दी।
