Gurugram Approves Daily Collection of 500 Tonnes of Construction Debris

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram's Finance and Contract Committee has approved a new system for door-to-door collection of up to 500 tonnes of construction and demolition waste daily. This initiative, costing an estimated Rs 4.3 crore, aims to improve the organised management of debris, preventing its accumulation on roads and public spaces. The committee also sanctioned nine other works related to sanitation and waste management, totalling Rs 47.3 crore, including additional manpower and machinery for sanitation services across all six municipal zones.

नगर निगम गुरुग्राम की वित्त एवं अनुबंध समिति ने रोज़ाना 500 टन तक निर्माण और विध्वंस कचरे के डोर-टू-डोर कलेक्शन के लिए एक नई व्यवस्था को मंज़ूरी दे दी है। इस पहल पर अनुमानित 4.3 करोड़ रुपये खर्च होंगे, जिसका मक़सद मलबे के व्यवस्थित प्रबंधन को बेहतर बनाना है, ताकि इसे सड़कों और सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर जमा होने से रोका जा सके। समिति ने छहों नगर निगम क्षेत्रों में स्वच्छता सेवाओं के लिए अतिरिक्त मानवबल और मशीनरी सहित, स्वच्छता और अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन से संबंधित नौ अन्य कार्यों को भी मंज़ूरी दी है, जिनकी कुल लागत 47.3 करोड़ रुपये है।
