Biocon Pertuzumab Drug Nears European Marketing Approval

Biocon's share price rose 2.6 per cent to ₹395.10 after its Pertuzumab biosimilar, Pebrilzo, received a positive opinion from the European Medicines Agency (EMA). This marks the first biosimilar to gain CHMP approval recommendation under a new tailored clinical approach. The drug is indicated for HER2-positive breast cancer. The European Commission will now conduct a final review.

बायोकॉन के शेयर ₹395.10 पर 2.6% चढ़ गए। वजह है कि यूरोपीय मेडिसिन्स एजेंसी (EMA) ने उनके Pertuzumab biosimilar, Pebrilzo को सकारात्मक राय दी है। यह पहला biosimilar है जिसे नए खास क्लिनिकल तरीके से CHMP की मंजूरी मिली है। यह दवा HER2-पॉजिटिव ब्रेस्ट कैंसर के लिए है। अब यूरोपीय कमीशन अंतिम फैसला करेगा।
