Andhra SEC Appoints 28 IAS Officers As Poll Observers For Local Body Elections

The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission has appointed 28 IAS officers as general observers to oversee the upcoming local body elections. State Election Commissioner Anil Chandra Punetha briefed the officers, emphasizing the need for free, fair, and transparent polling. The observers are tasked with monitoring election rule compliance, ensuring voters can cast ballots without fear, and coordinating with police for security. They will also utilize the SEC's Poll Management App for effective oversight. This deployment aims to strengthen supervision and accountability, ensuring a level playing field and protecting voters' rights.

आंध्र प्रदेश राज्य चुनाव आयोग ने आगामी स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों की निगरानी के लिए 28 IAS अधिकारियों को सामान्य पर्यवेक्षक के रूप में नियुक्त किया है। राज्य चुनाव आयुक्त अनिल चंद्र पुनेथा ने अधिकारियों को संबोधित करते हुए स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी मतदान की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। पर्यवेक्षकों को चुनाव नियमों के अनुपालन की निगरानी करने, यह सुनिश्चित करने कि मतदाता बिना किसी डर के मतदान कर सकें, और सुरक्षा के लिए पुलिस के साथ समन्वय करने का काम सौंपा गया है। वे प्रभावी निगरानी के लिए SEC के पोल मैनेजमेंट ऐप का भी उपयोग करेंगे। इस तैनाती का उद्देश्य पर्यवेक्षण और जवाबदेही को मजबूत करना, निष्पक्ष प्रतिस्पर्धा सुनिश्चित करना और मतदाताओं के अधिकारों की रक्षा करना है।
