Prabhas' 'The Raja Saab' Producer Blames Sankranthi Release Timing For Failure

The producer of Prabhas' recent film 'The Raja Saab' has cited the Sankranthi release timing as a primary reason for its box office underperformance. TG Vishwa Prasad stated that releasing the large-scale horror-comedy during a peak season was a fundamental mistake. He also pointed to delayed premieres and an attempt to increase ticket prices as factors that frustrated audiences and negatively impacted the film's reception. The movie, made on a budget exceeding Rs 400 crore, reportedly earned only Rs 208.39 crore worldwide.

प्रभास की हालिया फिल्म 'द राजा साब' के प्रोड्यूसर ने बॉक्स ऑफिस पर फिल्म के उम्मीद के मुताबिक प्रदर्शन न कर पाने की मुख्य वजह संक्रांति के दौरान रिलीज होना बताया है। टीजी विश्व प्रसाद ने कहा कि बड़े पैमाने पर बनी इस हॉरर-कॉमेडी को पीक सीजन में रिलीज करना एक बड़ी गलती थी। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि प्रीमियर में देरी और टिकट की कीमतें बढ़ाने की कोशिश ने दर्शकों को निराश किया और फिल्म की कमाई पर बुरा असर डाला। 400 करोड़ रुपये से ज़्यादा के बजट में बनी इस फिल्म ने कथित तौर पर दुनिया भर में सिर्फ 208.39 करोड़ रुपये कमाए।
