Matua Refugees to Get Land, Housing & CAA Certificates in West Bengal

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that Matua refugees from Bangladesh will be provided land and housing in the state. He stated that these refugees will first receive citizenship under the CAA and then their names will be added to the voter list. Adhikari criticized the previous TMC government for allegedly arresting Hindu refugees. He promised that any Matua refugees still detained without trial will be respectfully released and given land and homes.

पश्चिम बंगाल में मतुआ शरणार्थियों को मिलेगी जमीन, घर और सीएए प्रमाण पत्र

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने घोषणा की है कि बांग्लादेश से आए मतुआ शरणार्थियों को राज्य में जमीन और घर दिए जाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि इन शरणार्थियों को पहले सीएए के तहत नागरिकता मिलेगी और फिर उनके नाम वोटर लिस्ट में जोड़े जाएंगे। अधिकारी ने पिछली TMC सरकार पर हिंदू शरणार्थियों को कथित तौर पर गिरफ्तार करने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने वादा किया कि बिना मुकदमे के हिरासत में लिए गए किसी भी मतुआ शरणार्थी को सम्मानपूर्वक रिहा किया जाएगा और उन्हें जमीन व घर दिए जाएंगे।
