Hindustan Times · entertainment

British actor Benedict Garrett, working in India since 2022, admitted he didn't recognize Amitabh Bachchan's fame during a 2022 ad shoot, despite being told he was the 'king of Bollywood.' Garrett also found the presence of bodyguards with machine guns distracting on sets with stars like Salman Khan and Pawan Kalyan. He prefers to remain unaware of co-stars' stardom to maintain professionalism and avoid being a fanboy. Garrett has worked with numerous prominent Indian actors and has several upcoming film projects.
