केरल के मुख्यमंत्री वी डी सतीशण ने राहुल गांधी का समर्थन करते हुए नई दिल्ली में विपक्षी विरोध प्रदर्शनों में भाग लिया और केंद्र व चुनाव आयोग पर लोकतंत्र को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने जंतर मंतर पर प्रदर्शनकारियों के खिलाफ पुलिस की कार्रवाई की निंदा की और गांधी से मिलने के लिए संक्षिप्त रूप से प्रवेश से वंचित कर दिया गया, लेकिन बाद में उन्हें प्रवेश मिल गया। सतीशण ने आरोप लगाया कि EC ने केंद्र के साथ मिलकर सत्ताधारी दल को फायदा पहुंचाने की साजिश के तहत मतदाताओं की सूची में हेरफेर किया।
