Several locations recorded AQI above 350, with Jahangirpuri registering the highest at 420. This marks a sharp decline after a brief respite from pollution due to rain. The situation worsened on the first day of new pollution control measures, making breathing difficult in 34 affected areas. दिवाली से ठीक पहले दिल्ली की हवा की क्वालिटी बहुत खराब हो गई है। कई जगहों पर AQI 350 से ऊपर चला गया है, जिसमें जहांगीरपुरी में सबसे ज़्यादा 420 दर्ज किया गया। बारिश की वजह से प्रदूषण से मिली थोड़ी राहत के बाद यह एक बड़ी गिरावट है। नए प्रदूषण नियंत्रण उपायों के पहले दिन स्थिति और बिगड़ गई, जिससे 34 प्रभावित इलाकों में सांस लेना मुश्किल हो गया। AQI का स्तर 'बहुत खराब' से 'गंभीर' श्रेणी में है।
