New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani is issuing a warning to landlords, brokers, and rental platforms regarding the use of artificial intelligence in apartment listings. He stated that New Yorkers deserve to know if the apartment they are viewing online is real. His administration is developing rules to mandate clear disclosure when AI has generated or altered photos and videos for rental listings.

न्यूयॉर्क के मेयर ज़ोहरान मम्दानी ने मकान मालिकों, दलालों और रेंटल प्लेटफॉर्म्स को चेतावनी दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) का इस्तेमाल करके बनाए गए अपार्टमेंट लिस्टिंग में पारदर्शिता होनी चाहिए। मम्दानी का कहना है कि न्यू यॉर्कर्स को यह जानने का हक़ है कि वे ऑनलाइन जो अपार्टमेंट देख रहे हैं, वह असली है या नहीं। उनकी सरकार ऐसे नियम बना रही है जिससे AI द्वारा बनाई गई या बदली गई तस्वीरों और वीडियो के बारे में स्पष्ट जानकारी देनी होगी।
