Thiruvambady Devaswom Rejects Pooram Probe Findings, Seeks Fresh Inquiry

Office-bearers of the Thiruvambady Devaswom have strongly objected to the crime branch investigation's reported findings naming them as accused in the 2024 Thrissur Pooram disruption case. Devaswom secretary K Gireesh Kumar stated they received no official communication and learned of the findings through media, calling it an attempt to turn defenders into accused. He questioned any probe that absolves the police of involvement, deeming it a sham. The devaswom called for a fresh inquiry by the new government, offering full support to an independent investigation.
