Sachin Tendulkar Says 15-Year-Old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's Leadership Role Is Premature

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar believes it is too early for 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to be appointed vice-captain for the East Zone in the Duleep Trophy. Tendulkar suggested the young prodigy needs more experience playing red-ball cricket before taking on leadership responsibilities. Sooryavanshi, who had only played eight red-ball matches for Bihar, was chosen over more experienced players. The selection committee stated the decision was for his development. Sooryavanshi did briefly captain the side when Ishan Kishan was injured.

क्रिकेट के दिग्गज सचिन तेंदुलकर का मानना है कि 15 साल के वैभव सूर्यवंशी के लिए Duleep Trophy में ईस्ट जोन का उप-कप्तान बनना अभी बहुत जल्दी है। तेंदुलकर ने सुझाव दिया कि युवा प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ी को नेतृत्व की जिम्मेदारी संभालने से पहले रेड-बॉल क्रिकेट खेलने का अधिक अनुभव चाहिए। बिहार के लिए केवल आठ रेड-बॉल मैच खेलने वाले सूर्यवंशी को अधिक अनुभवी खिलाड़ियों पर चुना गया था। चयन समिति ने कहा कि यह फैसला उनके विकास के लिए था। ईशान किशन के चोटिल होने पर सूर्यवंशी ने थोड़े समय के लिए टीम की कप्तानी भी की थी।
