Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a sharp political attack on the Congress during a rally in Purnea, Bihar. He claimed that if Congress had been in power, the Babri Masjid would have been constructed across the entire country. Sarma questioned why Congress, despite its long tenure, never built the Ram Mandir. He also challenged Purnea MP Pappu Yadav to resign if he believed votes were stolen. Sarma further suggested sending Rahul Gandhi to Bangladesh via parachute, stating he couldn't win elections in India.
